CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – The Pampanga provincial government has provisioned Building B at the New Clark City Athlete’s Village in Capas, Tarlac as a Covid-19 extension facility of the Diosdado P. Macapagal Memorial Hospital.
Gov. Dennis “Delta” Pineda initiated the move amid the rising coronavirus cases in the province stretching the capacity of both private and public hospitals to cater to Covid-19 patients.
The hospital extension facility has a 252-bed capacity, each room provisioned with a bed, bathroom, television, and refrigerator.
During the site accreditation visit, Pineda was joined by director Atty. Nicolas B. Lutero of the DOH Health Facilities and Services Regulatory Bureau; Dr. Dax Tidula, incident commander ng Pampanga isolation facilities; Dr. Fleur Zapanta, DPMMH chief of hospital; Malu Lacson, central command deputy on Covid-19 vaccination roll-out; and other DOH officials.
