The Pampanga Dance Caravan is organized by the CSFP Arts, Culture and Tourism Council, the  Association of Ballet Academies of the Philippines (ABAP), and the Pampanga Ballet Festival. It  will be held at SM City Pampanga, Cinema 1 on April 29, 2023 (Saturday) 5:00PM in celebration  of the 2023 International Dance Day. The International Dance Day is an event celebrated  globally on this day. Created in 1982 by the International Theatre Institute, the main partner for  the performing arts of UNESCO, this day recognizes the value and importance of the art of  dance in the lives of people, regardless of where they come from.

For three decades, ABAP has been at the forefront in the development of dance in its various  forms through its affiliated members around the country. It is the country’s longest and only  existing organization of dance conservatories.

The Pampanga Ballet Festival was established in 2021 and aims to promote the art of ballet and  foster an appreciation for the arts among the local community. It intends to attract visitors to  the province of Pampanga and boost the tourism by offering a unique cultural experience. It  provides a platform for collaboration and networking among ballet schools, directors,  choreographers and ballet students.

Over a hundred ballet students from twelve ABAP member schools together with the Pampanga  Ballet Festival Ensemble will be performing in this event. The participating ABAP member  schools are Ava School of Dance (Laguna), Ballet and Arts Center (Metro Manila), Ballet Dance  Academy (Cavite), Beats and Steps Arts Academy (Metro Manila), Elyu Ballet (La Union), JC En  Pointe (Metro Manila), Lilibeth C. Trinidad School of Dance and Arts (Nueva Ecija), Little Steps  Ballet School (Tarlac), Louvi Dance School (Metro Manila), Rhythm and Dance Center  (Pampanga), Sur Les Pointes (Batanggas) and Vella C. Damian School of Ballet (Metro Manila).

This event is made possible through the help of CSFP Local Government, CSFP Arts, Culture and  Tourism Council, SM City Pampanga and our partner hotels, Bendix Hotel, Microtel by  Wyndham, Orotel and The Redd Manor.
