CLARK FREEPORT – The provinces of Pampanga and Bataan dominated the recent regional OTOP (One-Town-One-Product) awarding at the Mimosa Covention Hall here.
In the 2009 OTOP Congress and Awarding on Thursday, Aurora Gov. Bellaflor Angara-Castillo handed over the awards to the winners of the Best OTOP Implementer, Outstanding OTOP MSME, Most Supportive Partner Organization and Best OTOP Story Award.
The Masantol, Pampanga-based Navarro Foods International bagged the OTOP Story Award. The Rolrens Lanterns of the City of San Fernando, Pampanga won as runner-up in the same category.
The City of Balanga in Bataan was adjudged Best OTOP Implementer.
The Bagong Bayan multi-purpose cooperative in Bulacan was named Outstanding OTOP MSME.
The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) in Central Liuzon represented by Dr. Conrado Oliveros was chosen as Most Supportive Partner Organization.
The Kababaihang Masigla of Nueva Ejica tied with City of San Fernando winning the runner-award for the Best OTOP Story.
No less than Presidential Assistant for Central Luzon Lorelei Fajardo graced the whole-day event.
