CLARK FREEPORT — Philippine Airlines is increasing its flights to daily services on the popular Clark-Busuanga (Coron) route starting March 1, as part of the flag carrier’s efforts to strengthen its domestic network to boost tourism and economic growth.

PAL’s expanded Clark-Busuanga and Busuanga-Clark services will increase the current four weekly flights to seven, in response to the growing demand for leisure travel to Northern Palawan. Busuanga Airport is the gateway to Coron and a wealth of dramatic landscapes, hidden beaches, turquoise lagoons and rich biodiversity.

“We are excited to help foreign and domestic tourists discover the abundant wonders of Coron, home to the Twin Lagoons, Barracuda Lake, and vibrant coral reefs that grew from the hulks of sunken warships, hailed by Forbes Traveler Magazine as one of the top ten best scuba diving sites in the world,” said PAL Express president Rabbi Vincent Ang. “Our upgrade to daily Clark-Busuanga flights will help make fares more affordable and travel more convenient for both foreign and domestic tourists, in time for the summer travel season.”

With the beefed-up Clark-Busuanga service, PAL now offers a total of 42 weekly flights to Busuanga (Coron).  The flag carrier flies three times daily between Manila and Busuanga, as well as twice daily between Cebu and Busuanga.

PAL operates the 86-seater De Havilland Dash 8-400 Next Generation aircraft, offering near-jet speeds and a quieter inflight experience, for the Clark-Busuanga flights:

PR 2678 Clark-Busuanga (Coron) – Daily, departing at 03:45 PM, arriving in Busuanga at 04:45 PM

PR 2679 Busuanga (Coron)-Clark – Daily, departing at 05:15 PM, arriving in Clark at 06:20 PM

From Clark International Airport, PAL also mounts daily flights to Cebu, three weekly flights to Siargao, and four weekly flights to Basco (Batanes) along with seasonal nonstop services to Seoul Incheon (until March 4).

For flight reservations, travelers may book via www.philippineairlines.com, the PAL mobile app, the PAL Hotline at (+632) 8855-8888, or reach out to their preferred ticketing offices or travel agents. Press release
