ANGELES CITY (PIA) — The Pag-Ibig Fund called on stakeholders in North Luzon to continue supporting its housing and savings initiatives as it reported record-breaking financial performance during the fourth leg of its Stakeholders Accomplishment Report (StAR).

It gathered top-performing employers, developers, and collection partners from the region to recognize their contributions in advancing the Fund’s mission of providing affordable housing and financial services to Filipino workers.

Pag-IBIG Fund Chief Executive Officer Marilene Acosta reported that the agency’s total assets have reached a historic P1.14 trillion as of June 2025.

Of this amount, P869.5 billion or 76 percent are housing-related assets, in line with the Fund’s mandate.

Short term loans makeup P82.7 billion, while income generating investments account for P168.44 billion. The remaining P21.16 billion are in other assets such as property, equipment, and cash.

“This day is not just about presenting numbers, but about reaffirming our shared commitment to nation-building. We remain transparent to you, our stakeholders, as the rightful owners of the Fund, while celebrating the milestones we have achieved together,” Acosta said.

Pag-IBIG also highlighted its improved short-term loan programs, easier loan qualification requirements, and its continuing disaster response services, including mobile service deployments and moratorium on loan payments in calamity-hit areas.

“These efforts reflect our dedication to our members’ welfare, especially in times of need. Together, we will continue building a more inclusive and progressive future for all Filipino workers,” Acosta cited.

The event also honored top performing stakeholders in North Luzon. Among the awardees were the Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office 3, City Government of Olongapo, CS Modern Workforce Inc., and The New APEC Group of Companies, alongside leading developers such as Fiesta Communities Inc. & Affiliates and Borland Development Corporation.

Acosta emphasized that these partners are instrumental in helping Pag-IBIG serve its 15.6 million active members. (MJSC/MAGP, PIA Region 3-Pampanga GIP)
