CABANATUAN CITY – Over P600,000 worth of packed marijuana leaves were seized from three suspects by anti-drugs operatives in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Bantug Bulalo here on March 21, police said.
Nueva Ecija police director Col. Ferdinand Germino identified the suspects as Limuel Fernandez, 18; Jonathan Valencia, 29; and Jaryl Disomimba, 21; all of this city.
Germino said the anti-drugs sting was conducted by operatives from Cabanatuan City Police Station (CCPS) headed by Lt. Col. Renato Morales at around 1:30 am.
“SDEU (station anti-drugs enforcement unit) operatives of Cabanatuan City PS conducted an anti-Illegal drugs buy-bust operation that resulted in the arrest of the suspects and confiscation of more or less 5.06 kilos of suspected Marijuana with a standard drug price of P 607,200,” police reported.
The suspects and pieces of evidence, after being marked and inventoried in the presence of the witnesses were brought to Cabanatuan City PS for proper disposition, said Germino. Contributed photo
