CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – A high-value drug suspect was arrested and approximately one kilogram of suspected shabu was seized during a buy-bust operation conducted by operatives of the Arayat Municipal Police Station in coordination with the provincial intelligence unit of the Pampanga Police Provincial Office in Barangay Mapalad, Arayat town on April 5.
The suspect, a 48-year-old male farmer and resident of the said barangay, was arrested after selling suspected illegal drugs to an undercover operative. Confiscated from the suspect were approximately one kilogram of suspected shabu, valued at P6,800,000, and P5,000 in marked buy-bust money.
The suspect and the recovered evidence were brought to the Arayat MPS for proper documentation and filing of charges for violation of RA 9165(Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002P.
Pampanga police director Col. Jay Dimaandal lauded the efforts of the operating units and reaffirmed the commitment of Pampanga PPO to intensify anti-illegal drug operations in the province.
