A parcel from Germany containing 3,100 pieces of Ecstasy pills worth P6.2 million was seized Thursday afternoon by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Region 3 at the Mabalacat City Post Office.
A certain “Agatha” was arrested after claiming the package with the authorization letter and photocopied ID of the listed addressee, parcel delivery notice, official acknowledgement receipt, and registry notice. PDEA did not name the actual addressee of the parcel.
The arrested suspect now faces charges for violation of Section 4 (Importation of Dangerous Drugs) of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act, PDEA said. –With PDEA-3 reports
