ANGELES CITY – Some P530,000-worth of suspected shabu and marijuana were seized in separate buy-bust operations here conducted by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group Tuesday evening.
Five suspects were nabbed in the first sting operation at a suspected drug den along Claveria Street, Barangay Santa Trinidad where the authorities also seized different drug paraphernalia and over 25 grams of shabu with an estimated value of P170,000.
Police identified the suspects by their aliases: Rod, 44, the alleged drug den maintainer; Kelly, 46; Tupe, 46; Ric, 31; and Drew, 18.
In Barangay Salapungan, the law enforcers seized three bricks of marijuana weighing three kilos and estimated to be worth P360,000. Arrested were three suspects also identified by their aliases as Carlo, 23; Jon, 21, and Josh, 20.
Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are now being prepared against the suspects, PDEA said.
