BALANGA CITY — The Bataan Police Provincial Office reported the apprehension of a drug suspect and seizure of 67.80 grams of shabu worth P461,040 and one revolver in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Reformista in Limay, Bataan Monday.
Bataan police director Col. Marites Salvadora said the successful buy-bust operation was carried out by the joint operatives of the Limay Municipal Police Station, Bataan Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, Provincial Intelligence Unit, and 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company.
She said that the raid was a relentless fight against criminalities despite adverse weather condition.
“The Bataan PNP remains committed to the total eradication of illegal drugs in the province in line with the directives of PNP chief Gen. Nicolas Torre III and under guidance of PRO-3 director BGen. Ponce Rogelio Penones, Jr.,” Salvadora said.
The suspect will face charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act), and violation of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act). Photo: Bataan PNP
