ANGELES CITY – Joint operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Pampanga Office, Pampanga Provincial Police Office and Angeles City Police Office Station 5 arrested a Chinese national after selling 500 grams of shabu worth P3,400,000 in a buy-bust operation at around 3 a.m., July 21, in Barangay Cuayan here.
PDEA-Pampanga identified the arrested suspect as Long Chen, 24, residing at Savannah Green Plains, Barangay Cuayan.
Recovered from Chen were the illegal substance contained in a resealable plastic inside a brown paper bag, one cell phone, and one BMW sedan.
According to PDEA-Pampanga, Chen had been in the Philippines for nearly four years and was renting a unit in Angeles City.
Chen is now facing charges for violation of Section 5 (Sale of dangerous drugs) of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act)with no bail recommended.
