TARLAC CITY – Mayor Cristy Angeles has offered a P200,000 reward to anyone who could lead to the mastermind in the fatal shooting of Barangay Paraiso chairman Allan San Sebastian here last Monday.

Police probers have yet to identify any of the four armed men, one of whom fatally shot 52-year-old San Sebastian at about 3 p.m. in his own barangay.

“I condemn in the highest terms the killing of the chairman who was a good man and a dedicated public servant,” Angeles said in offering the reward.

The city police said San Sebastian was shot dead while visiting a construction site and was about to talk to the driver-operator of his backhoe equipment. He was engaged in a quarrying business.

“The city government is prepared to give a P200,000 reward to anyone who would give information that could pin down the suspects and solve the crime,” Angeles said.

Probers said they suspected that San Sebastian’s attackers could be hired killers, as was in the case of SPO3 Ruben Cortez who was also gunned down a year ago also in Barangay Paraiso.

Angeles said “I have ordered police chief Mendoza to leave no stone unturned. I want the killers of kapitan San Sebastian captured immediately, dead or alive.”
