CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – More than P2 million worth of shabu was seized in a buy-bust in Mexico, Pampanga last Saturday.
Reports said the drug sting was conducted by elements of the Police Regional Office-3 drug enforcement and special concern units and the Mexico police station in Barangay Lagundi resulting to the arrest of Nabil Macadatar, 26, of Langkaan, Dasmariñas, Cavite.
Seized from Macadatar were three knot-tied plastic bags containing shabu weighing 305 grams worth P2,074,000, the marked money, one cellphone, a weighing scale, one body bag, and a late model SUV used by the suspect in the illegal transaction.
Charges for violation of Sec. 5 and 11, Art II of RA 9165 are set to be filed against the suspect.
PRO-3 director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay vowed proactive police operations will continue to wipe out all forms of illegal drugs for a drug-free Central Luzon.
