SAN NARCISO, Zambales — A jeepney driver yielded P160,000 worth of shabu after he was arrested in a drug sting in Barangay Patrocinio here.
In his report to Zambales police director Col. Ponce Rogelio Peñones, Jr., San Narciso police chief Capt. Teddy R. Padauan identified the suspect as R-Jay Dacayanan, 26, jeepney driver, of Purok 1, Barangay Balaybay Resettlement Area Castillejos, Zambales.
The report said the suspect was arrested at about 8:40 p.m. on June 5, selling shabu worth P500 to a policeposeur–buyer along the National Highway of Barangay Patrocinio.
Recovered from the suspect were assorted transparent plastic sachets of shabu weighing 23.314 grams with market value of P160,000, the marked money and assorted personal belongings.
The suspect was detained at the San Narciso police detention cell facing charges for violation of RA 9165.
