Our Lady in Amsterdam

I once came across a prophecy saying that the times of Apocalypse would fast track after the Church has proclaimed a fifth and supposedly last dogma on the Blessed Mother, that is, that she is also Mediatrix of All Graces.

Last Sept. 12, my uncle did. My uncle is Lipa Archbishop Ramon Cabrera-Arguelles who confirmed as supernatural the apparitions of the Blessed Mother to a Carmelite novice in 1948 in Lipa, Batangas and consequently affirmed her as Mediatrix of All Graces.

Some two years ago I talked to him, and he told me how strongly he felt about the Lipa apparitions which, by the devil’s designs, were suppressed by some bishops, some of whom confessed in their death beds being pressured to deny in words the supernaturality of Lipa.

But more about the Lipa apparitions tomorrow.

Today, let me dwell on another apparitions, those in Amsterdam from 1945 to 1950 to Dutch women Ida Peederman.

There, the local ordinary also affirmed the apparitions as worthy of belief, and allowed veneration of the Blessed Mother under another title: Our Lady of All Nations.

In Amsterdam, right after World War II, the Blessed Mother issued prophecies that have happened, very accurately.

Our Lady said Catholicism would fade away in Europe, there would be decay and conflicts within the Church, decay of traditional families, rise of secularism, economic hardships, natural disasters, dramatic climate change and more armed conflict. All these have either happened or are still happening.

The Lady of All Nations gave more dire prophecies, but said humanity can avert them.

She advised the following daily prayer for us:

“Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Father, send now Your Spirit over the earth. Let the Holy Spirit live in the hearts of all nations, that they may be preserved from degeneration, disaster and war. May the Lady of All Nations, the Blessed Virgin Mary, be our Advocate. Amen.”

She also asked the veneration of her image as the Lady of All Nations. It’s the Lady standing before the cross over the world, shining graces from her hands to humanity depicted by white and black sheep.

Third, the Lady asked for the construction of a church in her honor in Amsterdam. (I think this was done.)

Finally, the Lady asked for the declaration of the fifth and final Marian dogma, namely, that she is “advocate, mediatrix and co-redemptrix.” The prefix “co-” here means “along” with, not “equal” with Jesus Christ.

She said such declaration was needed for peace to reign in the world.

Archbishop Arguelles did the mediatrix part. But that’s only a part of the Blessed Mother’s request.

Our Lady of All Nations was talking about requirements for peace. Meaning that otherwise, there would be non-peace. A great war?
