ORION, Bataan — The municipal police station here secured the top spot in the regionwide performance rating in Region 3 for the month of August, 2023 while maintaining the lead in Bataan.
The Orion MPS headed by officer-in-charge Capt. Silvestre Colanza got the number one position in the Police Regional Office 3’s Unit Performance Evaluation Rating (UPER) for last month as commitment to excellence.
The UPER system, a brainchild of the Philippine National Police, was designed as a standardized evaluation tool to assess the performance of various PNP offices and units. UPER assessment encompasses both administrative and operational compliance and achievements.
The Orion MPS emerged as the undisputed leader among municipal police stations in Central Luzon, getting a 99.55 percent rating.
“The rating underscores Orion MPS’ unwavering dedication to implementing strict discipline, enhancing personnel morale and welfare, ensuring fair placement and promotion and maintaining meticulous personnel and records management, all aligned with the stringent UPER parameters,” Colanza said.
The municipal police chef also attributed this remarkable achievement to the united efforts of his dedicated personnel, commending their unyielding commitment to raising the honor and pride not only of the Orion MPS but of the entire Bataan Police Provincial Office under provincial director Col. Palmer Tria.
