IBA, Zambales – The Zambales Police Provincial Office (ZPPO) implemented “Oplan Greyhound” at Zambales Provincial Jail in Balili, Palanginan here.
Zambales provincial director Police Col. Ponce Rogelio Peñones, Jr. led the search operation participated in by the Provincial Intelligence Branch, Iba Municipal Police Station, and the 1st and 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Companies.
Oplan Greyhound is an anti- Illegal drug and anti-contraband campaign aimed to prevent the entry, use and movement of contraband within jail premises to protect the public, employees and inmates.
During the search assorted weapons and other illegal paraphernalia were found in the different detention cell of inmates.
