Supt. Crizalde Conde, Mariveles police chief, said Art John Elquiero, 25, was caught in the act of selling a small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu to a police-poseur- buyer in exchange for P200-bill in marked money.
Another sachet was recovered in the possession of suspect during protective search, the police chief said.
The buy-bust was effected at 8:30 p.m. after a customer of Elquiero cooperated with police and ordered online a sachet of shabu that the buyer will get in Barangay San isidro, Mariveles where the suspect resides.
The suspect said he receives from his supplier P500 for every P3,000-worth of shabu he disposed.
“Nagbebenta ako ng shabu sa Facebook sa mga kakilala ko lang. Gamit ko messenger sa account ko mismo,” Elquiero admitted.
He, however, claimed that he started online pushing only recently.
SPO2 Teodolfo Endonila, Mariveles police investigator, said suspect who is not a drug surrenderee faces a criminal complaint for violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
