A movie/television personality turned-businessman on Thursday became a registered voter of Bataan after registering with the Commission on Elections in Mariveles where he was literally mobbed by municipal employees.
Juan Miguel Bondoc with screen name Onemig Bondoc said he considered himself as “prodigal son” of the town that he has visited so often since he was six years old.
They have an ancestral house overlooking the West Philippine Sea along Porto del Sol in Barangay BalonAnito, Mariveles.
The 34-year old former actor is a native of Abucay, Bataan.
He said he was inactive in show business for already eight years and has turned into construction, real estate and subdivision development where his parents and siblings are into.
Bondoc said his family has donated two hectares of land in Infanta, Quezon. He said that they helped many people when he was still in the movie and television industry. “It is about time that I now help my kababayan,” he said.
Asked if his intention in registering is to run for an elective post, he said it was still too early and he would study it carefully and pray for it.
