Clark Freeport Zone — In celebration of World Kindness Day, OMNI Aviation Corporation teamed up with Help Philippine Schools Foundation to donate technological teaching equipment to Diteki Elementary School and Villa Aurora Elementary School. The donation drive, titled “Gifting Wings for Aurora’s Future”, was held on November 13, 2019.
Each school received three Wagner Interactive Teaching Systems (WITS), comprising of a tablet laptop, a UNIC board projector, and solar-powered lights for students. The initiative was a bid to bring the benefits of technology and the internet to students of far-flung Aurora towns.
Ms. Wennie Gatchalian, School Head of Villa Aurora Elementary School, expressed gratitude for the donations during the program. “In terms of technology, napag-iwanan ang mga estudyante sa Villa Aurora. Itong pagpunta para magbigay ng mga kagamitan ay napakalaking tulong sa mga guro at mga estudyante,” she said. “This advanced Christmas gift is a good support to our teachers and pupils,” Ms. Teresita Bibon, Head Teacher of Diteki Elementary School, also acknowledged.
The project is part of both companies’ campaign to provide enriching learning experiences for students.
OMNI Aviation is a Clark-based airline training academy. Established in 1933, OMNI Aviation has been in the industry for more than 25 years and holds multiple recognitions and accreditations from the International Air Transport Association.
