It was also announced that 1,000 sets were allocated to the Department of Health Central Luzon Center for Health Development.
“Each set includes a surgical gown, shoe cover, medical goggles, KN95 mask, medical gloves, surgical mask, protective gown, and head cover,” OCD regional director Maria Theresa Escolano said.
The DOH-procured PPE sets arrived at the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council-Humanitarian Response Depot Warehouse at the Air Force City in Clark last Friday.
The delivery was made possible through the provision of trucks and personnel by the Philippine Coast Guard, Armed Forces of the Philippines, and the Philippine National Police-Special Action Force.
“We are expecting another batch of PPE sets for distribution,” Escolano added. – With Philippine Information Agency report
