PALAYAN CITY – Nueva Ecija Rice Vanguards failed on their bid to bag back to back championship as San Juan Knights outscroed them, 80-88, in game 2 of the match-up’s best-of-three semifinals series at Nueva Ecija Colisrum here Friday.
San Juan found another savior in Mike Calisaan as the Knights repeated over the Nueva Ecija Rice Vanguards, 86-82, on Friday and arranged a North Division final tussle against Pampanga in the MPBL (Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League) Fifth Season.
Calisaan who was later named best player of the game had 30 points, 17 in the second half, grabbed 18 rebounds and made 3 steals accross his name.
