Joint elements of Provincial Intelligence Branch of the Zambales Police Provincial Office led by Chief Inspector Leonardo N. Madrid and Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) operatives of Subic Municipal Police Station headed by Chief Inspector Joan Sibayan arrested Ommay Jalmaani y Heramis, 22, single and resident of Barangay Del Pilar, Castillejos, Zambales.
The suspect was arrested while selling shabu worth P1,000 to a police poseur-buyer.
Recovered from Jalmaani were 10 small heat sealed plastic transparent sachets containing shabu, the P1,000 bill marked money, a .45 pistol loaded with six live ammunitions, and a digital weighing scale.
The suspect is detained at the Subic PNP detention cell facing charges for violations of Section 5 and 11, Article II of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002) and RA 10591(Illegal Possession of Firearms and Ammunitions) before the Provincial Prosecutors Office in Olongapo City.
Meanwhile, a tricycle driver was arrested selling shabu worth P500 to a police poseur buyer.
Chief Inspector Rolando Dellezo, head of Castillejos PNP, identified the suspect as Raymundo Bundang y Mandar, 34, of Barangay San Nicolas, Castillejos, Zambales.
Report said the suspect was already arrested in Oplan Tokhang last 2016. Recovered from his possession were three transparent plastic sachets of shabu and the marked money.
The suspect is now facing charges for violation of RA 9165.
