In the early 1990’s, for example, mystic Maria Esperanza de Bianchini of Venezuela (now deceased) warned that “the yellow races will stand up, and that’s very serious and I’m very afraid, because they would like to rise up.” Some, however, believe the mystic was actually referring to China, now a global superpower ambitioning to replace the US.
Further, Esperanza, whose charisms have been likened to those of Saint Padre Pio, also said: “We are living difficult times right now, and I expect an ‘earthquake’ in Venezuela. It will begin here. There will be a revolution in general that will make people rise up against injustice. A very hard moment will come… Russia may act in a surprise way.”
Some observers of mysticism also see the possibility of recent events in North Korea as being related to the prophecies from the Blessed Mother as told to Sister Agnes Sasagawa of Akita, Japan in the early 1970’s.Japan, after all, is one of the most immediately threatened countries by North Korea.
On the anniversary of the Miracle of the Sun in Fatima, the Blessed Mother conveyed the following message through Sister Sasagawa:
“If men do not repent and better themselves, the Father will inflict a terrible punishment on all humanity. It will be a punishment greater than the deluge, such as one will never have seen before. Fire will fall from the sky and will wipe out a great part of humanity, the good as well as the bad, sparing neither priests nor faithful. The survivors will find themselves so desolate that they will envy the dead.”
Through all these prophecies, the Blessed Mother has repeatedly appealed for mankind to return to God. Also, she has been literally begging all: pray, pray, pray.
