BALANGA CITY — For the first time since March 2020 when the pandemic caused by the coronavirus disease hit Bataan, this province on Friday registered zero Covid–19 confirmed case.
Also on the second day since Thursday, no new death was listed.
“Malugod kong ibinabalita sa inyo na sa huling ulat ng provincial health office kahapon, ika-10 ng Disyembre, wala tayong naitalang bagong kaso ng Covid-19 dito sa ating lalawigan, gayundin, walang naitalang pumanaw mula sa sakit na ito,” Gov. Albert Garcia announced.
Total number of those who were tested positive stayed at 29,482 with active Covid–19 cases down to 65.
Number of casualties remained at 1,206.
Meanwhile, number of those who recovered rose to 28,211 with seven new recoveries coming from Orani – 2, and one each from Bagac, Balanga City, Dinalupihan, Mariveles, and Morong.
