BALANGA CITY (PIA) — Farmers and residents in Balanga City, Bataan now benefit from better mobility and improved access to markets and essential services after the completion of a new farm-to-market road.
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture, completed the concrete paving of the 924.5-lineal-meter, five-meter-wide road at Barangay Tanato, enhancing rural accessibility and facilitating the transport of agricultural products.

DPWH Bataan 2nd OIC-District Engineer Roland Rainier Victorino emphasized the project’s role in reducing travel time and supporting agricultural productivity.
“This road enables farmers to transport their crops and livestock more efficiently, ensuring timely delivery to markets while also improving access to production areas and essential farm services,” Victorino said.
