CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Three provinces and two highly-urbanized cities in Central Luzon have new police directors in a reshuffle that took effect last week.

“PNP wants to make sure that it is putting the right person in the right job, where they could perform their best in serving the community.”

Thus, said Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Matthew Baccay, even as he noted that reassignments are part of the routine system in the Philippine National Police wherein those who already met the more than one year of tenure as unit commanders will be relieved from the position.

“The movement of our officers will ensure a more balanced, efficient and productive leadership,” Baccay said,

Named as acting provincial police directors are Col. Romell Velasco for Bataan, Col. Rommel Ochave for Bulacan, and Col. Jess Mendez for Nueva Ecija.

Appointed as acting city police directors are Col. Diosdado Fabian for Angeles City, and Col. Carlito Grijaldo for Olongapo City. With PRO-3/PIO
