The NEDA Regional Office in Central Luzon (NRO 3) headed by director Severino Santos launched the PDP and the CL-RDP 2017-2022 at the Holy Angel University in Angeles City.
During the “News@Hues” media forum organized by the Pampanga Press Club in cooperation with Park Inn Hotel by Radisson here on Tuesday, assistant regional director Augustin Mendoza announced the launching as he enumerated the salient features of the PDP and the CL-RDP.
Mendoza also expounded on the PDP’s “Aksyon para sa Ambisyon Natin 2040” introduced by NEDA Development Information Staff Dir. Nerissa Esguerra.
Mendoza said plenary sessions covering the plan’s three main pillars – “Malasakit, Pagbabago at Patuloy na Pag-unlad” were presented by Dr. Richard G. Daenos, the Secretary for Monuments and Sites of National Commission for Culture and the Arts; Amanda T. Battad, the President of Bataan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc., Owner of Amanda’s Marine Products and RDC 3 PSRs for Micro Small and Medium Enterprises; Israel C. Romano, the owner of Redbuck’s Coffee Shakes; and Jaime J. Esteban an award winning inventor of the Multi-purpose Rotary Dryer and owner of J.J Esteban Enterprises during the launching.
He said various stakeholders coming from the private sector, government agencies and academe witnessed the unveiling of the PDP and CLRDP 2017-2022.
The grand launch is one of the communication and advocacy activities conducted by NRO 3 to inform the public of the development plans, he said, as the NEDA encourages stakeholders in the region to actively engage in future development planning and undertakings.
