CABANATUAN CITY – Nueva Ecija police provincial office has a new commander in Col. Rhoderick Campo who succeeded Col. Jaime Santos in ceremonies presided by Police Regional Officve-3 director Brig. Gen. Valeriano de Leon here Saturday.
Santos who got a brief stint of six months as chief of the province’s 32 police stations and two mobile field force companies expressed appreciation for the support extended to him in pursuing the agency’s advocacy amidst the pandemic.
For his part, Campo, who was chief of Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division (RIDMD) of Police Regional Office-5, vowed his “full time commitment on anti-criminality operations” per PNP chief Gen. Guillermo Eleazar’s Intensified Cleanliness Program in the Community.
He encouraged all the staff, and unit commanders to still carry on with the previous initiatives of the outgoing provincial director, as he will continue these programs with maximum dedication to thrive for curtailing all forms of criminality in the entire Nueva Ecija..
In his message, De Leon conveyed his “heartfelt gratitude for NEPPO’s unyielding commitment and as for being good officers who continue to rally behind him, that transcended all other 16 PROs, as PRO3 has been adjudged as the Best Police Regional Office after over two decades of waiting.”
“I believe that with the assumption of your new officer-in-charge, Police Col. Rhoderick Campo, our mission and vision of attaining a safer place to live and work will continue because, for all we know, peace and order is the bedrock of our society through which progress is built. Thus, I ask Col. Campo to do your best to further enhance Nueva Ecija PPO’s efficiency and effectiveness. The task is not difficult rather a challenging one,” de Leon said.
