CABANATUAN CITY – Two suspected peddlers of illegal drugs yielded over P1-million worth of shabu while another suspect was killed in separate anti-drug stings in Nueva Ecija Wednesday.

Acting Nueva Ecija police director Col. Jaime Santos said 150.35 grams of suspected shabu was seized from Christopher dela Cruz, 33, of Barangay San Josef Sur here, and Gendel Alamon, 44, a businessman, of Barangay Bibiclat, Aliaga, Nueva Ecija.

Santos said that using P,1000 and P500 pre-marked bills, anti-drugs operatives were able to buy three sachets of shabu from the suspects at around 3:30 a.m. Upon arrest, however, 30 more sachets were recovered from them. The total estimated value of the haul was P1,022,380.
