Santos said that while no one was hurt during the incident last March 31, the cops involved should be investigated for the incident.
The cops are all members of the San Miguel police force.
He appointed Napolcom regional technical services division chief and provincial officer for Bulacan Arlene Castro-Co as head of the investigation team.
“We want to ensure the public that we will thoroughly investigate the incident,” Santos said.
“While there was no casualty during the incident, Napolcom will not tolerate such police acts and we want policemen involved to be held accountable,” he added.
The names of the policemen were not immediately released, but reports said they had been disarmed and were stationed at the regional police headquarters in Camp Olivas here.
