CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Vice Gov. Lilia “Nanay” G. Pineda personally handed P100,000 to each of 25 elderly Capampangans aged 95 years and up at the New Legislative Building here on Monday.
The cash distribution is under the One-time Cash Incentive Program administered by the provincial social welfare and development office.
The vice governor said the program is in recognition of the contribution of the elderly to the development of their respective communities during their most productive years.
With her during the event were 2nd District board member Fritzie David-Dizon, 3rd District board member Atty. Ananias “Jun” Canlas, Jr., and PSWD officer Elizabeth Baybayan.
Aside from the cash incentives the beneficiaries who were accompanied with their close relatives received milk from the provincial government. Pampanga PIO/Photos by Jun Jaso
