CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – More than 800 Kapampangan women, including Violence against Women and Children desk officers, persons with disabilities, and cancer patients received assistance from the Department of Social Welfare and Development and Provincial Government of Pampanga in celebration of International Women’s Month on March 10.
Vice Gov. Lilia “Nanay” Pineda and Pampanga 2nd District Rep. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo led the distribution of assistance in ceremonies held at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center to extend their unwavering support and appreciation for the women of Pampanga.
Each beneficiary received ₱3,000 under DSWD’s Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation program, along with food packs and hygiene kits from the provincial government.
Also present were board members Fritzie David-Dizon, Sajid Khan Eusoof, Atty. Claire Lim, Cherry Manalo, and Pol Balingit, along with special assistant to the governor Angelina Blanco.
