DINALUPIHAN, Bataan – Relatives of a murdered businessman on Saturday asked Pres. Benigno Aquino III and Local Government Sec. Jessie Robredo to help them get justice for the killing of their brother after the arrest of one of four suspects and recovery of alleged get-away car in just less than two hours after the commission of the crime.

Former Councilor Noli Soriano claimed that the gunmen were merely paid hacks and “there is someone big in Pampanga or Bataan who masterminded the murder” of their elder brother, Dennis Soriano, 48. He did not elaborate.

Incumbent Dinalupihan Councilor (SB member) Arnold Soriano is another brother of victim. “Sa sinomang gumawa nito sa kapatid ko, hindi ko maintindihan dahil mabait ang kapatid ko, siguradong kayo ay bayaran.

Sana makonsensiya ang nag-utos na maaaring isang malaking tao sa Pampanga o Bataan. Nakikiusap kami kay Pangulong Noynoy, Sec. Robredo, sa buong kapulisan at kay Dinalupihan Mayor Joel Payumo na tulungan kaming makamit ang hustisya,” the former SB Member said.

SPO2 Rolando Amarga, Dinalupihan police investigator, said Adrian Sta. Maria, 33, driver of Alua, San Isidro in Nueva Ecija, was arrested by combined police team from Dinalupihan led by Insp. Jeffrey Alivia and Pampanga at 12:00 noon of Saturday in Lubao, Pampanga.

Police also recovered the Mitsubishi Lancer car with plate No. UTH-944, suspected break-away car that suspect was driving. A caliber .45 revolver, some rounds of ammunitions and a cellphone allegedly containing the operation of the group were confiscated, Supt. Robin Sarmiento, Dinalupihan police chief, said.

Three still unidentified men gunned down the businessman and brother of two municipal councilors in the morning of Saturday at the entrance of his electronics shop adjacent to a busy road in barangay Burgos, Dinalupihan, Bataan.
