OLONGAPO CITY — City officials have turned over a multi cab to City Councilor Ellen Dabu, head of “Task Force Virgo”, a group that will oversee the cleanliness and improvement of the Olongapo City Public Market.
Dabu received the keys along with the other members of Task Force Virgo.
There has been a major re-organization in the Public Market where stalls outside the main public market were scattered creating traffic and files of garbage. New stalls are being installed to accommodate more vendors who are being assigned new spaces.
A new system is also being implemented in the Public Market, which is groomed in time for the visit of the delegates to the East and South East Asian (ESEA) Conference set at the Subic Bay Exhibit and Convention inside Subic Bay Freeport Zone on November 19-21, 2008.
Mayors from all over East and South East Asia will participate in the said conference.
