The candidates for eight town councilors, vice-mayor, mayor, five provincial board members per district and representative for the two congressional district with their supporters were on board tricycles, cars and trucks blowing sirens and horns.
Most of the vehicles were equipped with loud speakers belting out campaign music for the candidates.
Some candidates and supporters threw candies to residents, many children, lining the streets for example in this town.
Other candidates seemed not to be tired waving, smiling, blowing flying kisses to spectators they passed by.
The first two days of the campaign period exuded a fiesta-like atmosphere.
