CASTILLEJOS, Zambales—After four years of hiding from the police, he was finally locked up in jail.
Elements of the Provincial Public Safety Management Company, 2nd & 3RD Maneuver Platoon arrested the No. 1 “Top Most Wanted Person” in this municipality, Sunday morning,
Chief Inspector Arnel Dial, identified the suspect as Edgardo Galang Custodio, 27, single, driver and resident of Purok 3, Barangay Mangan Vaca, Subic, Zambales.
Report said that at about 10 in the morning, the suspect was flagged down along Nagbunga Road, Barangay Nagbunga, San Marcelino, Zambales on board a tricycle on his way to a family gathering to his in-laws in Barangay Rabanes, San Marcelino, Zambales.
The police said Custodio was convicted for the three counts of rape under Republic Act 7610 by Judge Renato J. Dilag of RTC B-73 Olongapo City on Sept. 21, 2006.
A warrant of arrest for murder was also issued against Custodio by Judge Clodualdo M. Monta of RTC B-75 Olongapo City on July 16, 2007.
Custodio is now temporarily detained at the Castillejos Municipal Police Station.
