MABALACAT, Pampanga – Mayor Marino “Boking” Morales has extended his “operation libre tule” after receiving more requests from various barangays here.
Morales said the free circumcision project will be held until Friday (May 11). It was originally scheduled from April 30 to May 7.
The mayor disclosed that more than 1,500 young people have so far benefited from the said project held at his residence in Barangay Dau.
“We have received more requests to extend it especially those from isolated villages,” said Morales.
He also provided free transportation to at least 47 residents of Barangay Marcos who want to avail of the free circumcision.
Marcos village is one of the two Mabalacat barangays located at Clark Freeport. It’s about 12 kilometers from Dau.
Morales also lauded his wife, Niña for her invaluable assistance for the success of the project. “My wife is more tired than me. She does all the hard work such as preparing food for the people.”
“It’s a very successful project. We are looking forward to making a bigger one in the future,” Morales said.
