CALUMPIT, Bulacan —- The mother of the missing sabungero from Barangay San Jose here turned emotional over the reported issuance of warrant of arrest by the Sta. Cruz, Laguna RTC Branch 26 against businessman Atong Ang and others involved in the disappearance of her son and some others.
Carmen Malaca, mother of Edgar Malaca, could not hold back her tears over the order to arrest, saying she felt happy that there is a warrant but saddened because Ang has not been yet arrested.
Her message to those who will defend Ang is to have a conscience and not tolerate what Ang’s group allegedly did to the missing sabungeros.
Malaca also called to expedite the result of DNA investigation for the bones recovered from Taal Lake so that they can give proper burial to the victims.
Meanwhile, she recalled that it was Jan. 6, 2022 when her son went missing after being invited into a cockfight in Lipa, Batangas.
