HERMOSA, Bataan – Less than two months after a 17-year old girl was reported missing, her alleged skeletal remains were discovered by a boy tending to a carabao at a grassy portion in Pulo, a secluded barangay here last week (Thursday day afternoon).
Amihan Cachila, 42, of Pentor in Dinalupuhan, Bataan said they last saw their daughter on November 14, 2011 who left for her on-the-job training at the Lighthouse Hotel and Restaurant in the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority.
The girl, the couple’s only daughter, was a second year college taking up Hotel and Restaurant Services course at the East wood College in Dinalupihan town.
She said she identified her daughter from an earing and the T-shirt and blouse found with the skeletons. But she and her husband, Archie Perea, were still in doubt if the skeletal remains were indeed of their daughter.
