CLARK FREEPORT – The Governor’s Night for the Philippine Meetings, Incentive Travel, Conventions, and Exhibitions Conference (MICECON) 2024 highlighted Pampanga’s rich heritage, culinary delights, and warm hospitality.

Pampanga Vice Governor Lilia Pineda addressed the delegates during the event on July 11 at the Royce Hotel and Casino’s Premium Tower Ballroom, emphasizing the importance of the MICE industry in tourism and community impact.

“The MICE industry plays a crucial role in shaping the future of tourism. It is about creating lasting impressions, forging partnerships, and leaving a positive impact on our communities,” the vice governor said in her message.

She also highlighted Pampanga’s readiness to host diverse global events, promoting sustainability and ensuring memorable experiences for guests.

Highlights of the event included a presentation on Pampanga as a culinary capital and performances by Erik Santos and Arti Sta. Rita, and a promotion of Royce Hotel and Casino’s facilities.

Other key officials in attendance included Undersecretaries from the Department of Tourism (DOT), members of the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB), CDC board of directors, officials from the Provincial Government of Pampanga, Mabalacat City Mayor Crisostomo Garbo and other members of the diplomatic community.
