CLARK FREEPORT – The Clark Development Corporation (CDC) is spearheading efforts to prepare for the hosting of MICECON 2024 (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions Conference) with the recently concluded Metro Clark Tour Packaging Workshop.
Organized by the CDC – Tourism Promotions Division (TPD), the workshop aims to create enticing tour packages under the branding “Tatak Metro Clark” or “Metro Clark Seal,” catering to both local and foreign tourists.
CDC President and CEO Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera thanked the tourism representatives of the Metro Clark Local Government Units (LGUs) for their support in the preparation for MICECon 2024. She mentioned that through the Metro Clark Tour Packaging Workshop, CDC aims to create innovative and compelling tour packages that highlight the best of what Clark and Metro Clark areas have to offer.

By collaborating with industry partners and aligning their efforts, the state-owned firm is confident that it can position Clark as a premier MICE destination and deliver an unforgettable experience for attendees.
During the workshop, key stakeholders and tourism representatives from various Metro Clark LGUs including Angeles City, Mabalacat City, Municipalities of Bamban and Capas, Tarlac, Municipality of Porac and Magalang Pampanga, Province of Tarlac and Province of Pampanga, collaborated to identify the necessary pieces of training required to enhance the tourist experience in the region. Additionally, the Metro Clark Tour Packaging Workshop discussed the development of a unified branding strategy for Metro Clark packages. In collaboration with the CDC’s Creative Team, participants explored ways to create a distinctive and cohesive brand that embodies the essence of Metro Clark. This branding initiative will be further refined to ensure consistency and effectiveness in promoting Metro Clark as a must-visit destination.
Meanwhile, CDC, as the driving force behind these initiatives, remains committed to cultivating Clark’s tourism potential and positioning it as a top choice for MICE events in the Philippines. The hosting of MICECON 2024 presents an exceptional opportunity to showcase Clark’s world-class facilities, top-notch accommodations, and unrivaled hospitality. As preparations for MICECON 2024 continue, the state-owned firm encourages tourism stakeholders, businesses, and interested parties to actively participate and contribute their expertise in future workshops and initiatives.
