MABALACAT CITY – In recognition of its “outstanding and exemplary practice (sic) of the Philippine Population and Development Plan of Action 2023-2028 in Central Luzon,” the city government here was awarded 1st Place in The Outstanding Population Structures (TOPS) Awards 2023-City Level.
The recognition bestowed by the Commission on Population and Development (CPD) – Region III also extended to the City Population Office of Mabalacat hailed for its “exemplary dedication and commitment” in the execution of the population programs – Adolescent Health and Development, Responsible Parenthood and Family Planning, and Population and Development Integration.
The plaque and certificates of recognition, attested by CPD-3 director Lourdes P. Nacionales, were awarded during the TOPS Awards ceremonies held at the Heroes Hall in the City of San Fernando on March 13.
“I am immensely proud of our city’s accomplishments in population management. These awards are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team and the unwavering support of our kabalens.
