ANGELES CITY – Councilor Maricel “Marang” Morales has enjoined her fellow public servants to perform their tasks with “renewed passion and utmost dedication typical of a woman.”
Morales made the call during the recent 5th “Gawad sa Marangal at Ulirang Ina” at the SM City Clark. She is the sponsor of the annual awarding ceremony honoring women which made the “big difference” in serving their respective family and constituents.
Morales invited Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia as guest of honor.
“We are fortunate to have with us the governor of Cebu as she best displays the meaning of public service anchored on hard work and dedication,” said Morales.
The two-term councilor and Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting welcomed Garcia, a three-term governor who wants to run for senator in 2013.
