OLONGAPO CITY—A man with multiple stab wounds in the body was found dead by his tenant in Barangay Mabayuan in this city Saturday morning.
Police identified the victim as Tito Del Pilar, 40, resident of No. 1569 Otero Avenue of the said place.
Investigation conducted by ZCIDT provincial officer, Chief Inspector Rogelio Peñones, Jr., and City Intelligence Unit head Chief Inspector Julius Caesar Domingo, disclosed that at about 6:40 a.m., a certain Luis Evangelista informed them that he found the victim lying lifeless with multiple stab wounds in the body and his neck slashed.
Evangelista told investigator, he saw a male and a female entered the room of the victim prior to the incident.
Reports added that the unidentified suspects were seen coming out of the victim’s compound and quickly boarded a tricycle.
Police are still investigating the motive of the crime and the identity of suspects.
