BALANGA CITY – Police filed a case of rape against a man who allegedly sexually molested another man at dawn of Monday inside a hut in Orani, Bataan.
PO2 Laurence Yumang, Orani police investigator, identified the suspect as Ciano Jemino, 38, a native of Ozamis City residing in Barangay Tugatog in Orani. The suspect reportedly works as caretaker in a farm for gamecocks in the area.
“Sinampahan namin siya ng violation of RA 8353 or the Anti-Rape Law of 1997,” Yumang said. The police investigator said they have brought Jemino for inquest at the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office in Balanga City.
The suspect refused to comment on the accusation. Victim Jeric Perez, 22, also of Tugatog, said he was forced to go with the suspect whom he called “Bin Laden” in the farm for fear of his life. He claimed that suspect has a handgun with two magazines of ammunition.
“Pinapasok ako sa kubo, pinaupo sa papag at pinatay niya ang ilaw. Tapos sapilitan akong pinaghubad at isinubo ang ari niya sa bibig ko,” victim said.
Analyn Perez said she wanted justice for her son. “Dapat maturuan ng leksiyon ang may kagagawan sa anak ko at para hindi na ulitin,” the mother said. She said her son attended the birthday party of a cousin and was enjoying the videoke when the suspect brought him to the farm.
“Kung matino ‘yon (suspect), hindi magagawa ang ganoon.” Article 266-A of RA 8353 punishes a person guilty of rape with “reclusion perpetua.”
