SAN NARCISO, Zambales – Police here nabbed on Sunday a man charged for “making an obscene act to a minor.”
Town police chief Major Jonathan C. Bardaje identified the arrested suspect as Albert Bactad y Ruane, 57, of Barangay La Paz, San Narciso.
Bactad was arrested by virtue of a warrant for violation of Sec 5 (b) of Republic Act of 7610, or the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act, as lodged in Criminal Case Nos. RTC-13599-2021-I, issued by Presiding Judge Maribel F. Mariano-Beltran of Regional Trial Court-Family Court, Branch 13, Iba, Zambales, dated May 12, 2021 with P200,000 bail recommended.
The suspect is now under the temporary custody of the San Narciso Municipal Police Station.
“We will have no let-up in our campaign against wanted persons and we will keep on conducting manhunt operations to put these criminals in jail,” said Bardaje after the arrest.
