Having a very hectic week, I took a breather and ate lunch in the newest dinning destination in Pampanga. Certainly, pleasurable dining coupled with warmth ambiance gave a perfect punch and kept my sanity in check amid the flurry of activities and deadlines. I thought I’ll never be as satisfied and relaxed if not for…Italianni’s Restaurant!

Managed by well known, Bistro Italiana, recently opened the first and only Italianni’s Restaurant in the North. Traditionally, Italian restaurants are owned by families, recipes and cooking techniques evolved from generation to generation. Nevertheless there are some traits that link them all together to one finest restaurant and that is – Italianni’s: freshness of ingredients, homey ambiance, family oriented, and hospitality reign high for they want every guest to feel at home and enjoy the flavorful and robust Italian dishes.

While churning my Sicilian Chicken salad, short talk with General Manager, Narissa “Richa” Matoza, added more delight as she shared “So far we are very happy with the positive feedback and good sales performance of this branch. To make guests feel more comfortable, all restaurant staff, crew and servers we hired are kapampangan para mas feel at home and they can communicate easily but we all trained them in Manila. Well, others thought pricy ang Italianni’s but in fact it’s not, as you can see big serving kami maybe in one order good for 2 or 3 na depende and not to mention the ingredients we use, quality of cooking and taste I think fair enough ang price namen. We also do catering outside and we have group and party packages.”

I was about to finish my Shrimp Fra Diablo pasta, I’ve noticed customers from corporate and government agencies, families and prominent personalities kept coming and increasing in number. Then after few dip in my Spinach and Artichoke Formaggio, all seats were occupied and whole restaurant was jump packed. But what’s good about it everybody was happy, chatting and exchanging hi and hello. True enough Italianni’s is the  new and perfect place for get together, family time, catching up with friends, reunions and special meetings.

To my surprise, came a family friend, Josie Tablante – David of Teatro Ima and Arti, asked me to join their table for a triple treat celebration – its her 64th birthday, 39th wedding anniversary with husband Willy L. David past president of Porac Bank and birthday of her daughter Pia. So I mingled and took some photos.

I ended my meal with luscious Tartufo (a three-layered chocolate cake with dark and white chocolate mousse covered with the fudgiest frosting) and yes indeed, save the best for last coz Tartufo truly made my day complete. Grazie!
