LJ Reyes’ romance with JC de Vera proved to be short lived. We’re told they’ve stopped seeing each other. As of now, they’re both quiet as to why it quietly ended, so someone quipped thatit’s because JC is now pursuing again Michelle Madrigal who has returned to ABS-CBN to become a Kapamilya once more.

If you’d recall, Michelle was JC’s very first girlfriend when he joined showbiz.

We inquired about this and a source told us this is simply not true since Michelle is currently committed to her boyfriend, a basketball player. “Matagal na sila,” says our source.

Another informer says it’s because LJ is hoping that she’d reconcile with Paulo Avelino, the father of her son Aki. “Natapos ang romance nila ni JC noong umamin si Paulo na wala na rin sila ni KC Concepcion,” observes a writer. “So baka nga umaasa si LJ na magkabalikan sila ni Paulo.”

But someone close to LJ says the real culprit is that both LJ and JC are just very busy and didn’t have time for each other. JC is in a new movie, “Anino sa Likod ng Buwan”, an entry in the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival at the Czech Republic in July, and also in a new soap paired with Jessy Mendiola. Her hit afternoon soap, “Yagit,” now on its 8th month, has just been extended again for another month. It is rating very well and sometimes even tops the ratings of GMA’s perennial afternoon toprater, “The Half Sisters”.
