She has earned the reputation of being very approachable and kind, traits which are typical of her father—the former Zambales Governor Atty. Amor Deloso, an ulirang ama awardee in 2011. Filipinos there testify that her kind heart and dedicated service radiate the goodness and talent of her father the model father of nine children (five of them are lawyers), all very successful, hardworking and dedicated with a very special place in their heart for the ordinary folk.
The patriarch Deloso has been a public servant in 30 years from being mayor of his hometown Botolan to becoming one of the most beloved governors of Zambales until (2007- 2010). He passionately pushed for reforms in education and espoused genuine care for the needy. He is a true and selfless public servant.
When I visited the US last January 2016, I got the chance to speak to Atty. Yodel and I knew and felt right there and then that any client who would come to her office for immigration related matters will definitely be in safe and good hands. Last month, my chef-son was on a business in the US and happened to check-in at RAMADA FRESNO AIRPORT hotel in San Francisco. He was booked in that hotel by his sponsor for three weeks. On his fifth day in the hotel, my son went out early morning to meet some friends and to look around the city. He was out the whole day.
When he returned to his hotel room at about 3:30 in the afternoon, his key card did not work and his room door could not be opened.
He immediately went to the front desk to have his keycard fixed. He then went back to open his room and to his surprised all his personal belongings were stolen. What was alarming, the thieves dared to take a shower, lighted a cigarette inside the room and ate some food, an indication that they might be ready to harm should my son arrive.
My son immediately called the bank to block his credit cards and bank’s debit card. There were already attempts to use his credit cards by the thieves. My son filed a police report and suspected it was an inside job. The hotel’s personnel including the general manager were not addressing the incident properly to this day. Sadly, the hotel does not have a CCTV camera.
He immediately transferred to another hotel that day as he feels RAMADA FRESNO AIRPORT hotel is not a safe place to stay.
Until now this hotel has not settled what was stolen from my son that’s worth not less than US$5,000.00.
